A 32 bit photograph in most cases is still an LDR photo. It’s just an LDR photo with a high color resolution. But the range of luminosities it covers will in most cases still be low in terms of orders of magnitude. You can chop up a range of 1 cd to 10 cd in 1 billion steps which still does not make it a high dynamic range.
Lost Coast is a small tech demo that isn’t generally considered canon, as the start and end aren’t connected to any of the Half-Life games: so you can play it at any time. Personally, I like to play it before Episode 1, as the features showcased in Lost Coast are later used in the episodes. Ok, thanks for the advice. This is what I do as well.
Half-Life 2 Half-Life 2: Episode 1 Half-Life 2: Episode 2 The episodes were basically expansions and they never released a third one unfortunately, just left the game on a cliffhanger. I can see why the naming system is confusing though since 'Episode 1' is the second part of the Half-Life 2 story.
