They seem to be a very nice place to be. I test drove a 2012 1.6 ecoboost (150) and really liked it. It felt smooth and the power was a very nice upgrade from my lethargic 56 plate 1.2 clio. The stated MPG figures for the 1.6 are ok in my books, I can live with slightly less. The 1l ecoboost figures however seem very high!

Lag then sudden POWER if my brothers Focus is anything to go by!!!! Personally, I prefer the 1.25 but each to their own. Like any new car, I'm sure you will get used to it. What I will say is the Ecoboost seems much better than the 3-cyl fabia I had recently as a courtesy car (and that much better again than the Nissan Micra 3-cyl)
